The Yoruba Nation’s base, led by Modupe Onitiri-Abiola, was destroyed by the Oyo State Government in Ibadan.

Onitiri-Abiola is the wife of Chief MKO Abiola, who was thought to have won the 1993 presidential election.

BNN remembers that a group of armed men wearing Army uniforms and Yoruba Nation symbols tried to take over the Oyo State Secretariat on Saturday. They wanted to take control of the State House of Assembly by force, but security agents stopped them.
