People in Taraba State have been dealing with a long power outage for the last two weeks, and the whole state is in darkness.

The power outage caused by damaged electricity cables from Yola Electricity Distribution Company is making life difficult for people, especially those who can’t afford fuel for generators.

The power went out and it’s causing big problems for people and businesses in Jalingo, the capital of the state.

The whole state doesn’t have electricity, and that’s making the temperature go up even more.

Businesses in the state have had to either reduce their hours or close because there is not enough power.

Local people in Taraba told our reporter that the blackout happened because of vandalism in Gombe State.

Some YEDC officials in Jalingo said they are working to fix the broken power system, but they don’t know how long it will take.

The long power outage has caused people to ask for better security to protect important buildings and for a power system that won’t fail in the future.

Right now, people in the area are dealing with the difficulties of not having electricity. It doesn’t seem like the blackout will end soon.
