At least two persons were abducted by gunmen in Otu town, in the Itesiwaju Local Government Area of Oyo State, early on Saturday. Among the victims are Mr. Dayo Olayanju and Mr. Kehinde Obasola’s wife.
But Mr. Obasola managed to flee with gunshot wounds, and the assailants kidnapped his wife. As of the time this story was filed, the kidnapped victims’ locations were unknown.
The event happened on Saturday morning, according to a local government area leader who wished to remain anonymous.
“It is true. It happened around 2 am today. They were kidnapped in different areas. One was kidnapped along Okeho road. I have confirmed it. The two people kidnapped are Dayo Olayanju and the wife of Kehinde Obasola. Kehinde Obasola escaped with gunshot wounds, but his wife was kidnapped.”
