Kuti, who won two medals at the 13th African Games in Ghana, will compete for the first time at the regional competition, which acts as a qualifier for the October 2024 African Championships in Ethiopia.

Kuti will face experienced players like former champion Oba Oba Kizito of Cote d’Ivoire and homeboy Fanny Kokou, in Togo.

But the Lagos State champion will not be alone in Lome as he has the likes of Muiz Adegoke, Abdulbasit Abdulfatai, Samuel Boboye, and Matthew Fabunmi as part of the men’s team.
Along with Ajoke Ojomu and three young talents, Kabirat Ayooola, Aisha Rabiu, and Ize Sezue, Hope Udoaka, another medallist from the African Games, will serve as the team’s captain.
