Emeka Rollas, the president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), confirmed that Junior Pope, the actor believed to be deceased, is still alive.
On Instagram, Rollas said the actor is alive and getting treatment at a hospital that has not been named.
Rollas posted on his Instagram that the actor is alive and getting treatment at a hospital, but he didn’t say which hospital.
He wrote, “What God cannot do does not exist. Junior Pope is alive.
“He is taking treatment in the hospital.”
Filmmaker Sam Olatunji said on Wednesday that Junior Pope and three others died when their boat flipped over while trying to cross the River Niger for a movie shoot.
