President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has instructed security agencies to do everything within their power to secure the prompt rescue of students and instructors abducted from Kuriga, Kaduna State’s Government Secondary School and LEA Primary School.

On Saturday in Kaduna State, Vice President Kashim Shettima made this revelation in a meeting with the state’s governor, Senator Uba Sani, security agencies, and stakeholders, including traditional leaders and a few impacted parents from the state’s Chikun local government area.

During the meeting, Vice President Shettima made a statement through his media assistant Stanley Nkwocha, stating that all personnel were working together to guarantee the safe return of all those kidnapped and that attempts were underway to put a stop to this threat.

He acknowledged that the unfortunate incident had personally affected the President, but he reassured that Tinubu could handle securing the nation.

He said, “I am here at the behest of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to empathise, to solidarize with the government and people of Kaduna over the sad incident of the kidnapping of our school kids. The President was personally pained by what happened and he has instructed the security agencies to leave no stone unturned until we return our kids to their parents.

“He (President) is in regular contact with the governor of Kaduna State. Today, so far, he has spoken with the governor four times; he has spoken with me three times about the rescue of the kids.
