The head of a group called CSCHEI wants President Bola Tinubu to lower electricity prices in Nigeria to help people.
Yusuff talked to leaders of community groups in Abuja about how the high electricity prices are making life hard for regular Nigerians.
We need to ask Mr. to help connect the government and the people. It’s really important. The president needs to quickly look at how the government works with different organizations like charities and religious groups. Yusuff said this.

Yusuff said some good things about the current government’s work, and he mentioned that the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, led by suspended Minister Betta Edu, has done good things.
However, he stressed that the government needs to solve the problems that Nigerians are facing, like ongoing danger, expensive public education, and financial difficulties.
Yusuff praised John Obazee’s recent investigation of the Central Bank of Nigeria and other government business entities. He wants more investigations into agencies like NNPCL, NPA, NIMASA, and Customs.
He said that going to college is getting too expensive for many Nigerians. It is important for CSOs to be actively involved in examining the submission of the Presidential Tax Reforms Committee.

He also asked the government to improve the student loan system to make it stronger, clear, and easier for students who need help in the whole country.
Yusuff said that having a good student loan program is important to make sure we have smart and educated people working to help the community grow and improve.
“We really support the student loan programs that help with education,” said Yusuff.
“We want the Government to make the program strong, clear, and available to poor Nigerians. This will help us to educate young people and give them the skills needed for the future. It will also help us to keep working towards the Sustainable Development Goals. ”
Yusuff thanked President Tinubu for his work in making Nigeria look good around the world, but said that he thinks they should do more diplomatic meetings.

The CSCHEI said they will do research and evaluate the President’s appointees to make sure they are accountable and transparent in their work.
