Chelsea have made a plan to get Victor Osimhen from Napoli before PSG and other teams this summer.

The Blues are thinking about giving around 90m, Romelu Lukaku, and a young player to the Serie A side as part of a deal.

The Blues have liked the Nigerian player for a long time, and he was important in helping Napoli win the title last season.

The Serie A team had a tough season in 2023-24, and they are in the middle of the table. Osimhen has said he might leave Naples this summer.

Paris Saint-Germain wants the 25-year-old player and Chelsea also want to sign him. Both teams are competing to get him on their team.

Italian journalist Gianluca di Marzio says that the Blues have reached out to Napoli about a possible transfer and are trying to agree on a price between €80 million and €90 million (or £68 million and £77 million).

To make the deal better, the report says Chelsea will also give Lukaku and a young player who is not named as part of the deal.

Chelsea paid a lot of money, £97 million, to sign Lukaku in 2021. He has spent the last two seasons playing in Italy on loan, first at Inter Milan and now at Roma. The 31-year-old has scored 19 goals in 43 games for the Giallorossi.

Chelsea has had problems scoring goals this season, but Cole Palmer has managed to score 20 goals, which is almost a third of the total goals scored by the team in the Premier League.

Nicolas Jackson did well in 42 games in his first season at the club, with a 15% return. However, some people have criticized him for missing important shots during the season.

Christopher Nkunku has only been able to start two games because he has been dealing with injuries.

Osimhen has scored 16 goals for Napoli this season. His friend, John Obi Mikel, who used to play for Chelsea, said earlier this year that Osimhen really wants to move to Stamford Bridge.

I believe they are both genuinely interested in each other. Mikel said he thinks he loves the club and wants to come to the club.
