The Africa Democratic Congress (ADC) leaders convinced 22 people from other opposition parties to come together and agree on how to remove the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) from power.
The leader of the party, Chief Ralphs Okey Nwosu, shared this information at a press conference in Abuja on Tuesday.
The important people at the party meeting were the NWC and BoT members, along with other ADC leaders.
Yesterday, Nwosu talked to reporters and listed all the things that the Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led government has done wrong. He said it did very poorly in all areas.
He said that a committee had been formed to get more people to join the new party. The committee will ask a lot of people for their opinions.
The party said the government doesn’t have good plans to help the country grow. They think giving short-term help to people in poverty won’t work.
“The condition of the country is not good. ” It makes me sad and scared. So, instead of arguing with the government, we should focus on creating a new political system and working together to build a better country that puts our people first.
“We definitely need a fresh start. ” Transformational leaders don’t blame others, a total of 22 political parties have come together with the ADC to create a new big party,” Nwosu said.
Nwosu said the merging parties are still welcoming new members. The new platform will welcome anyone who loves their country.
“We will work with all political leaders who understand the importance of uniting for a better Nigeria. ”
“We don’t discriminate against anyone; we are dedicated to creating a new Nigeria that will help our continent get out of its current problems. “
