He said: “The way our government is set up has different levels, and your new role means you have to oversee the local government elections, which is an important part of government. ”

“You must make sure that the rules and procedures for local government council elections are fair, honest, and believable. ”

People in Enugu State are counting on you to be fair referees and make sure the rules are followed without playing favorites. So, we are counting on you to do well in your new jobs. Some of you are already part of the system because you were hired again and we hope you will use your experience to help.

On behalf of the new ENSIEC leaders, the chairman, Prof Christian Ngwu, thanked the governor for choosing them to help the people of Enugu State. He promised to make ENSIEC better and fair for all political parties.
