The person in charge of sharing information about the Federal Road Safety Corps, Jonas Agwu, has been recognized as a ‘Fellow’ of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations.

Being called a ‘Fellow’ is the best level you can reach in the institute’s membership.

In a statement from the deputy spokesperson of the FRSC, Charles Edem, he said, “Agwu has now become a role model for the younger professionals at the Institute. ”

Remember when the person in charge of public education became the spokesperson in January 2024. Agwu was in charge of the operations department in Abuja before he became the head of the public education office.

Agwu is an experienced member of the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations and a member of the Chattered Institute of Public Relations, United Kingdom. He also went to the International School of Public Relations in London and the University of Lagos where he got Bachelor and Masters of Arts Degrees in History. He also completed a specialized program in journalism after finishing his other degrees.

Jonas has worked as a public education officer for two different marshals. He is a skilled communication expert and is good at creating a positive image for organizations. His experience will help improve the reputation of the corps.

The FRSC spokesperson went to many important classes about keeping roads safe and secure, both in Nigeria and in other countries. These include awards and workshops in Europe, Africa, Canada, and the USA. I also attended law enforcement training in California and conferences on road safety and alcohol policies. I have received training from the World Bank and the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies in Nigeria, among many others.

Meanwhile, the head of FRSC, Dauda Ali Biu, has asked the spokesperson to use their experience to help boost the morale of the corps.
