The Delta State House of Assembly has approved the three people chosen by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for their new jobs.

Sir Edwin Ogidi-Gbegbaje is the chairman of the Delta State Bureau for Pensions.
Olorogun Jude Emurotu is a member of the Delta State Independent Electoral Commission, and Mr Ifeanyi Egwuyenga is the Chief Job and Wealth Creation Officer at the Delta State Job and Wealth Creation Bureau.

The nominees were introduced one by one by members of the parliament in a meeting led by the Speaker, Hon Dennis Guwor, for the screening process.

During the interview, politicians were asked how they plan to explain why they should get the jobs they were nominated for, for the good of the state.

The speaker agreed to officially appoint people after they were checked and found suitable according to Nigeria’s laws.

Majority Leader Hon Emeka Nwaobi asked for each appointment to be confirmed, and the speaker approved them with a voice vote.
