The person who killed Jam Master Jay was not found for almost 20 years. Karl Jordan Jr. – rewrite as: Karl Jordan Junior Ronald “Tinard” Washington and the other man who were said to be responsible for the DJ’s death have been found guilty. Now, the second person is trying to make his conviction appeal. Washington’s lawyers say there isn’t enough evidence to prove he was involved in the drug plot that led to Jam Master Jay’s murder in 2002. The lawyers want to either undo Washington’s charge or have a new trial.

The legal papers were filed just under two months after Jordan Jr. and Washington were declared responsible for ten different crimes. Their lawyers said they would fight their convictions right after they were found guilty. When the first decision was made, the government lawyers were sure that Jordan Jr. Washington cruelly killed the Run-DMC member. The prosecutors said that Washington and Jam Master Jay were childhood friends, and Jay’s murder happened because of a problem with a cocaine deal.

Jordan’s son Oregon and Washington might have to spend at least 20 years in prison, or they could be sentenced to death. Susan Kellman, the lawyer for Jay, said that Washington and Jam Master Jay agreed on selling cocaine and that someone named Jay Bryant is responsible for Jay’s death. Kellman said that Jam Master Jay tried to help Washington when the deal fell through. “Consider it,” the lawyer said. “Who dies when a drug deal goes wrong? It’s not the person who encourages you to do the deal. ”

Jay Bryant is still waiting to go to court. He has to go to court in 2026, but the news says that Bryant and his lawyer César de Castro are thinking about making a deal with the prosecutors for a shorter punishment. “The prosecution said he was part of it, but he didn’t commit the murder. ” Washington is hoping that the trial will have to start over because they think Bryant is guilty. What happens in the next few months will be very important. Bryant and the lawyers who are against him will tell the court and Judge LaShann DeArcy Hall what is happening by August 5th.
