Lizzy Anjorin, a businesswoman and actress in Nollywood, has responded to claims that she used a fraudulent money transfer to purchase gold jewelry at Lagos Island’s Idumota market.

A video that has gone viral on social media shows the actress being questioned by a group of people while sporting a nose mask and appearing terrified.

In a video, Liz offered her version of events. She said that in November, she paid N90,000 for apparel accessories at a business store in Idumota Market and asked her husband to transfer the money to the seller’s account.

The shop owner initially denied receiving the money when the well-known actor asked him whether he had, but then admitted that he had.

But the last time she visited the store, the businessman confronted her and said she hadn’t gotten the money she sent for her most recent transaction.

When the man called for help to arrest her and said she had paid him with a fake bank transfer, the actress said she was still trying to make things right.
